You know we love celebrating all of the things here at Mulino, so we’re particularly excited about National Prosecco Day coming up on Saturday, August 13, 2022. We want to highlight one of our favorite bottles we keep on our wine list year-round for the celebrations we host at Mulino. Take a look below.
’84 Prosecco
Vento (Prosecco) is light and refreshing, aromatic, crisp, the flavor of pear, white peach, and apricot.
What’s the Difference Between Prosecco and Champagne?
It is fairly simple, wine can only be called Champagne when it originates from the Champagne region in France. Prosecco is from Italy! Champagne perception as a luxury commands higher prices. On the other hand, Prosecco perception as a value sparkler means it’s more affordable. Still, exceptional Prosecco wines exist. If you haven’t had a chance to taste the difference between Prosecco and Champagne, come give a glass of both a try! We’d love to hear what you think.
At Mulino we offer an extensive collection of fine Italian wines. Take a look at our full wine menu here. If you have any questions about our wine list, please don’t hesitate to ask your server. We’d be happy to make suggestions based on your order. As always, make your reservations in advance! Especially because National Prosecco Day falls on a Saturday. We look forward to seeing you soon!
