Did you know we are the official caterer for our second-story wedding venue, Melrose Knitting Mill? They just participated in the first-ever Great Raleigh Trolley Weddings + Warehouses Tour on Sunday, January 12, 2020. The tour featured five of the most sought after downtown Raleigh wedding venues – Melrose Knitting Mill, All Saints Chapel, Market Hall, The Stockroom at 230, and Traine. Over 250 guests were in attendance.
We served a prime rib carving station with au jus and horseradish sauce, roasted potatoes, pimento cheese crostini (passed), shrimp cocktail (passed), and country ham mini biscuits with fig preserve (passed). We also mixed up a delicious signature cocktail, “The Blushing Bride”.
According to a post-event survey, guests loved the food tastings, all the different vendors at each venue (but the fact that there were not multiple vendors that provided the same services at each venue), and the trolley rides to and from each venue provided by The Great Raleigh Trolley.
VIP tickets were $35 and general admission tickets were $25. In addition to the tour, each attendee received a swag bag.
You can see the full list of vendors that were at each location here. We have also outlined all of the vendors that were at Melrose Knitting Mill below.
