About PiggyPalooza 2019
Thursday, October 24th, 2019, was the swine-est day of the year at the newly restored Wakefield Barn! What made PiggyPalooza so fun? Well, of course, it starts with the food…
- Sam Jones of Sam Jones BBQ and James Beard Award winner pitmaster Rodney Scott of Rodney Scott’s BBQ out of Charleston provided the perspective on what makes great BBQ.
- Duskie Estes, The Queen of Pork and Food Network’s creator of Black Pig Bacon & Waffles, flew in from Sonoma to prepare the feast.
- Mulino’s own Samad Hachby brought cuisine to surprise and delight.
- Locals Seafood, always a crowd favorite, served their delicious oysters as an appetizer.
Let’s not forget what makes the night meaningful, wine and tequila! Triangle Wine Experience brought their “A Game” for this party, we’re talking the triumvirate…
- Steve Reynolds of Reynolds Family Winery
- Guy Davis of Davis Family Vineyards
- Michael Browne of CIRQ
Entertainment was provided by the Jordan Lake Swimmers, a new time string band that plays Americana style music.
