About Gorghi Tondi
As well as vines, we cultivate respect for nature. Cultivating the land to produce good wine, coincides with respecting it. “Being at one with nature” is a key component for working within a Nature Reserve. Our mindset results in the conservation of the natural habitat and a sustainable low impact on the environment at the same time as offering maximum control and care through the entire winemaking process. This is the way to obtain excellent quality grapes that, without the need for synthetic chemicals or genetically modified organisms, maintain the original fragrances and flavors that this wonderful soil provides. Our estate, situated at an average height of 25 meters above sea level, is fertile, largely flat and completely irrigated. The soil tends to be calcareous and has great depth and permeability and medium density. All the features that show this is a natural place for wine making.
